Busy summer with LERN!

First of all, thanks to all who came to our last seminar. Quentin Cronk gave us a great talk on the process of extinction in plants.

We have a fun-filled summer ahead! We start with a LERN seminar (on the 21st June) given by Chris Jiggins from the University of Cambridge on the role of introgression in the evolution of butterfly wing patterns (more info here).

We are organising a trip outside of London – to the Natural History Museum at Tring, the outpost of the NHM in the Chilterns. The trip will be on Saturday the 9th of July. We’ll give you more information as soon as we have the details of the trip organised.

Finally, we are having a Science and Pizza night on the 20th of July. The plan is to have a few 15 minutes talks, as an opportunity to talk about each other’s research! We’ll send an invitation for abstracts soon!
